Yeah, when you get your queen out too early it is vulnerable to repeated attack and losing in development. Am I missing something or would Bg7 have you losing a pawn after Bxc6 bxc6 Qxc6?

Oh maybe it was at a different part. Yeah on move 11 is when I should have played Bg7.
Here is round 2 of the IHSA State Tournament. I played black.
I kind of got lucky here. I was losing before he played Ng5.
