improving rapid but losing in blitz

I've gained about 500 rating points in rapid over the past 2 months (I started chess as a total noob and dropped all the way down to 575 and am now at 1050) but my blitz games I can't seem to get above 750. I seem to have a much easier time against 1200 rated players in 30 minutes games than I do against 680 to 750 rated players in 10 minute games. I know part of it is the time difference, I can play a good rook pawn end game if I have time to sort it all out, but also the play of very low rated players can be completely random and bizarre where you either win easily or they get lucky and win some bizarro exchange you weren't expecting and throw your game off. It seems higher rated players up to 1200 are actually easier for me to play because they are much more predictable. does anyone else run into this?

Well you start off as 1200 rating before you've played a single game, so when you see someone rated 1200, they could potentially be the worst player on the planet.

Try playing people rated 1400+. At least the rating becomes accurate at that level.

I've confirmed my theory- I lost 6 blitz games in a row to 680-750 rated players and then I won 4 rapid games in a row against 1050-1150 rated players with ease. I also played a 3 minute blitz tournament where I dispatched a 1400 rated player handily and then lost to a bunch of sub 1000 players. To me it seems the lower the rating the more difficult they are to play.

I saw your games in your archive. You are playing complicated openings and that is confusing you. play simple stuff: e4-e5.

It takes time to regain your blitz rating. Do not feel demoralised.

On a side note, be careful to not get overconfident against lower rated players.

My peak rating in rapid has been 1450 something, maybe 60, but my blitz at the most has been 1200. I play 3 minute blitz games, and perhaps I play too many of them in one sitting, but my point is that it's hard to get your blitz rating up to your rapid points. They're different time controls with completely different battle conditions.

People who specialize in rapid might have a problem playing at the same level in blitz, and vice versa.

Continue loss 10 matches than Continue win 10 matches , it's fair ...

I find lower rated players horrible to play against because not only are they unpredictable, they tend to show their opponents less respect (often no respect whatsoever) than higher rated people . I also often find myself getting tied up in knots winning material off them or trying to punish their dubious play.
