Bro, that is a clear stalemate right there
A stalemate is when the opponent has no legal moves, but is not in check, as opposed to a checkmate where the opponent has no legal moves but is in check. A stalemate is a draw. As you are not attacking their king, it has no reason to move.
How can anyone play for 9 months and still not know what checkmate is? That's a bit weird.

1. Timeout vs insufficient material
2. Repetition
3. Draw by agreement
4. Insufficient material
5. 50-move rule
6. Stalemate
7. You don’t know the meaning of a ‘draw’.
