JRadis Game 2

As the most of you can se I dont leave this opening so good so please help me with the english opening. I would also like to know why he didnt end up winning ( won on time but it would have been a draw if not).

Cant anyone help me? I would really like to learn how to play the english the right way...

I'm confused about your note at 14...f6, how would Rd2 have won either the knight or bishop? If 14...Rd2 then 15. Bxd2?

I guess your main question is about a good defense against the English?  There are lots of little things that could have been done differently later on in the game.  As for your opening defense, I think it was reasonable.  LIke you said, 9... Nxe5 might have been better, but I think overall you had a reasonable position after the opening.  If you're looking to examine different ways to play against the English, I usually play King's Indian Defense.  Overall though your opening was fine imo, there just wasn't great play in the middle or endgame to give you winning chances.

I was mening that I was protecting the pawn on d5 but to attack the pawn he would have to go to b2 with the bishop And then I can take either the bishop or the knight. So no need to protect d5.
