How do you think Shredder felt? You made it play without its endgame brain. I think it should have had a draw.
just posting to learn from mistakes

i have to disagree with your opening assessment after move 8. after e4 the opening has actually transposed to some kind of philidor where white's advantage is very small, if any, since white's setup is not exactly critical, and of course easing the tension with 6 dxe5 has also helped black.
i even prefer black, with typical queenside counterplay with b5 etc. the dynamic potential in black's position should not be underestimated.
the pawn ending is winning for white as long as he has a non-rook-pawn on the queenside, regardless of whether you get "cornered" (which i guess that is what notmtwain was worried about). the point is that you can just spend a tempo with the rook pawn to relinquish black's opposition.

@ Inyustisia I agree that I had only a small advantage only after the opening. I tried to avoid main lines and get out of my comfort zone in the opening, both Shredder and me had little on this opening.
@notmtwain - endgame after f6 and having a rook versus a minor piece was piece of cake. I probably could have done better, but at that point I knew I had it won.
I set up Shredder to almost 1700 strength to practice, I was surprised after not playing for months how many blunders I made
