King, by a small amount: it can hit three adjacent squares, change colour more easily than a knight, attack a pawn while blocking it, and mate with the aid of a Rook. So if you had the opportunity to begin with a non-royal King (sometimes called Mann) in place of a minor piece, it would be worth it.

When you said a king can change colors more easily than an knight, you are wrong because a knight can only change colors.

No, I'm not wrong, because you're making exactly the same point as me, just not as articulately. A bishop can't change colour. A knight, on the other hand, not only can but must - which is OK some of the time, an inconvenience otherwise because if it can take an even number of moves to reach a White square, it can't get there in an odd number. A king, on the gripping hand, has complete freedom to change colour all it likes.

Given your youth, inexperience and pathetic ~1100 rating, and the fact I'm old enough to be your grandad, be politer to me in future, or I'll be compelled to kick your ass over the board.

In your post (1st post) you said it could change color more easily which was wrong, the king can change color just as easily as the knight.

No, I wasn't wrong, child. The Knight has no choice but to change colour every time it moves. The King can change colour or not, as you like. I class "being able to choose whether to change colour or not" as "changing colour more easily than something which must do it whether it wants to or not". Now possibly I was guilty of being terser than necessary, which sometimes happens when I overestimate the intelligence of the person I'm talking to, but the King's superiority in this respect is clear-cut and I expressed it in the fewest possible words. And your chance of getting responses to questions you ask in future would be improved if you didn't go around looking for things to yell "You're wrong!" about at your elders and betters.

The king can "change colour more easily than a knight".  What does that mean? A Knight can change color in one move, as can the king.  You claim that "the King's superiority in this respect is clear-cut and I expressed it in the fewest possible words".  You claim that you explained this articulately? A king can "change colour more easily than a knight".  Wow.  Very articulate. Please don't muddle your response in ambiguity and then get extremely defensive and threaten to "kick your ass over the board".  Please articulate your responses more clearly next time.
