Longest Game Every Played

It may be the longest game you ever played.

But it shows that you really need to study basic endgames- particularly how to mate with a rook and king and how to use extra material (in this case an extra rook) to force the win of the only remaining pawn earlier in the game. (Move 64)

Some of the Chess Mentor courses are available for free to all members- Free Chess Mentor lessons.

I would suggest that you study them.

/With a 15 10 time control, you can't use time pressure as an excuse.

I guess you guys don't know the word "mistake"

Also, I don't like to get crowned the "worst" just because of a game that doesn't make any part of your future.

Actually, the longest game I have ever seen was 400+ moves. I can't remember who played it though.

Oh wow 400+ moves, what was the reason?

You obviously haven't understood the point. Chessgenius's posts were done in reaction to your previous thread where you crowned your opponent the "worst opponent ever."

You evidently didn't realize that it is entirely possible that your opponent will read that post and that saying "not trying to insult the opponent" doesn't cut it when you call someone the "worst opponent ever.'

You can still go back and edit that post. Take the guy's name out. Change the title of the post to one that is less disrespectful.  It is okay to celebrate good wins. There is no need to disrespect your opponent.

ezraryouta

Well, I don't know how to change the title nor delete the post.

You can't delete the post but you can edit it, using the edit key for your first post. All you really need to do is take out the name of your opponent.  (We are talking about your other thread here.) You can get away with saying almost exactly the same things as long as you don't name your opponent or make it completely obvious who you are talking about.

Changing the thread title is also possible. Go to "Home" and on the bottom of the page is "Manage all content". That will allow you to edit the thread titles.
