Don't take this too personally, but I solved this pretty quickly and I'm not exactly a heavyweight chess-problem solver. If you're into more sophisticated stuff check out a book of combos taken from GM games and/or a book of composed problems.

It's always nice to have a forced mate, but if it's only done by logical moves and with no sacrifices at all, it's not as interesting as a real puzzle. Also, Rd1, O-O-O and Qc4 were all checkmates on the last move.

Yeah, you're right, it wasn't a real difficult mate, but i thought it would have been nice to show people that everybody can look ahead 10 steps, if you try....
Last move indeed has more possibilities!
I have come across a position that has it all. You need to think ahead 10 steps, to see that this is a M10! Pretty cool. See the puzzle below, can you solve it?
