I think you could have avoided the time scramble at move 42. There are no doubt improvements earlier, but I think 42.Qe3 would have made your life easier. Now you can push the d pawn and get some material for it.

I totally agree. 3 min game remember!!, and I know the blunders were caused by time pressure. But completly correct. I mean of course I knew this which is the reason for the post. That game went way to long and I know I had a won position, but time caused me to really lose control.

I can't play blitz at all! My bad blitz games look like a drunk chimp got ahold of a chess set. Remember those old anti-drug commercials: This is your brain; this is your brain on drugs... with me it's: This is your brain; this is your brain under time pressure.
Didnt he just hand you the game by accepting a 8 to 9 trade. Its fairly easy to win with a queen and perhaps he thought winning on time would suffice. Luckily you got mate
Would like an analysis of the game. It was a 3 min game and I felt like I had a good attack, but missed some winning line. Fortunatly I was able to mate, but did I have an easier course?
