well I have heard aound about that the ratings on online chess pages isn´t everything and this game demonstrates it. I played this game versus a friend of mine that is nationally is rated 2248. I´m not rated nationally but in this page my rating is 1456. PLEASE comment on how well I play and what moves did I missed.

Also I also want to mention that we played this game with clock. My clock was at three minutes and his at 15.

This doesn't look like a 2200 rated player.

I was thinking the same myself.

22...d4 looks weak to me.  Think i would have tried Ke7.  Undecided

fairly obvious games nothing exiting about it though if hes rated 2200 he must of been having a really bad day specially with the difference in your timers.

I highly doubt a 2200 player would play like this. BTW, IMO the game is boring and doesn't look at all like a high rated player would play like that.

gordonhuan

that was a nice game

Munchies

what rating system is this 2248 derived from? 2248 Fide would be a National Master if they had a USCF (United states chess federation) rating. I don't understand why a highly rated player would miss simple tactics or play anti-positional moves like 11. Bxc3. This game makes more sense if you were playing black at the time odds of 15min for you, 3 minutes for your friend.

Munchies

if black leads with the rook on 14, followed by 15castling, or maybe just qc5, he is winning in my opinion

I would go further, this not even seems a 1800 rated player.

chessman_calum
ye it doesnt seem like a 2268 rated player.

If Italian national masters play like this, it is time to think about  a relocation.

hmmmm yes exactly my thoughts.... 1500 player maybe, or the master was being very very easy on you so he wont hurt your feelings when he crushes you

idk?

on the time comment, i took it to mean the final state of the clocks from an equal start.  It didnt make sense to me to have them as the starting times.
