i had 2 missed wins in the same match and i sat for like 10 minutes unable to figure out the winning moves on either of the two situations new to chess so i dont really have any friends to help me understand what i am missing and several times the game analytics was saying to do 1 for 1's i dont understand why that would ever be the best choice when the game is pretty early one especially when i have said piece covered by another i feel like that would give up control for no reason anyways i just started playing chess like 3 days been trying to read up and watch as much stuff as i can to learn as much as possible so any and all criticism will be appreciated <3  (just spent 30 minutes figuring out how to annotate and get a pgn file it was pretty hard lmao)

There were many blunders made by both side, and black unfortunately made the worst mistakes.

I think 2. Bg2 would be better than 2. Bh3

Chess is a great game, but it can be hard to learn, particularly when you have to learn i on your own. Let us know if you would like the name of a good beginner's book to help jump-start your learning

Move 14: qxa7 lol

At least both players played much better than their 200+ ratings would suggest.

There are many players rated between 600 and 1000 (playing against me) who always exchange pieces whenever they saw the opportunity regardless of whether the exchanges benefit them or not, and there are others who take my "poisoned" pieces without realising their impending doom.

But then again, I wouldn't except a 200+ player to spot the backward move.

I am surprised that Black resigns in that position (being only two pawns down) considering the rating.

Almost every player I encounter refuse to resign in a two pawns down endgame with other pieces still existing.

Actually, I was soliciting help from the community! I would suggest Yasser Seirawan's "Play Winning Chess" as a good book for inexperiened players, but I'm sure many of you have your own suggestions. Please, no "My System" or "Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual!"

“The Amateur’s Mind” by Jeremy Silvan is good for inexperienced people.

I only know that the second missed win is. It should be 28. Ne6+ forking the king and rook.
