more missed opportunities

why did you play 9. Bxb8? your bishop is better than the b8-knight and even if Nc6, Bg3 and the doubled pawns on the g-file and a half-open f-file is good for you.
wait, are you white or black (im assuming white)
11...f5 was an ambitious move, but probably worse for black.
when the king is in the center, you should open up lines of attack. f4 followed by Ne3 and d5 would be good for white.
18...b5 was a blunder for black

yes I was black...f5 was ambitious and not bad
With the king in the center the black king was actually safe. now I look at it again that was my reason for a6 preventing the check on a5.
F4 just helps black. It isn't white who is attacking it is black who has the attack(and that ignores the fact that after f4 gxf3 when the pawn can not take.)
b5 was an !? as you can see by the game. first of all the rook wasn't doing anything versus that very strong knight. Second it helps develop my attack
