Pretty new to serious chess, but am improving. Here's analysis of my best win so far.

I think your right, 10. ...Nd7 was to allow for some strong attack lines on your king. It frees up the pawn, which allows him to open up the F file for his rook.

As for 14. ...Ne4, I think it was the only logical space to go whilst opening up the d8-h4 diagonal, as well as opening up the F file.

Well done with the combination of moves following from taking his a6 pawn.

After, 26. Rfd1 Bc6, you might have considered 27. Bb4. This may have allowed for a Bishop exchange which I believe would have been good considering that an opponent with 2 Bishops in the endgame can be very threatening. The moves may have followed, 27. Bb4 Bxb4 28. Rxb4 Re8 29. Rd4... This would have given you 2 rooks doubled up on the d file whilst threatening the e4 pawn.

30. Rxa4 was an excellent move, allowing you complete control in the Endgame.

Your choice to keep both white pawns in the Endgame was a good decision, however checkmate with King, Bishop & Knight would have been very possible under those circumstances.

I liked your use of your Knight to draw the King from the centre, I hadn't thought of it.

Overall a well played game, you were quick to take advantage of blacks mistakes and took victory by storm!

One thing is, i can't believe he's 1962! you played well, even if it's on his mistakes ^_^

You're not new to serious chess.

It was a good game, the knight trap was pretty well thought out.

Forced mate in 30+ is never fun.
