But a small question: Did you have the whole thing planned when you moved your queen, or did you tell yourself something along these lines should work? I'm interested in this to see how I should lead my atttacks

i didnt spend long thinking about Qf7+ because i thought once his king was forced to go to d6 there should be a mate.

once he plays Kxb4 its forced mate in 8 by playing nc3, but i played Ba3+ instead and if he goes to a5 like you suggested its forced mate as you can see in the diagram.

an entertaining game anyway if not very high quality!
