"Why Qxf7 isn't the solution?" is a good puzzle.

"Find mate in 3 moves" is a bad puzzle, as there are multiple ways to mate in 2, and we can't even guess what mate-in-3 you had in mind.

That's not how moves are counted and numbered in chess.

It goes like this:

1. Bb4+ Bc5 2. Bxc5#
