you can always play Vienna
Openings

Perhaps this will help. After 1. e4, you'll have to start building a repetoire for...
1. ...c5, the Sicilian. You seem to like closed openings, so I'd actually recommend 2. Nc3, and going into the Closed Sicilian. Most sicilian players are ill-prepared for this, so you'll have a strong shot for a win.
1. ...e5, the open game. You have a lot of options here, and black pretty much has to follow along. There's the Spanish, the Italian, the Scotch, the Vienna, and others. Among each of those are sub-variations, and you just have to prepare one line for each of black's options. Depending on the opening, you might not have to make that many choices, anyway.
1. ...e6, French. Aside from the three main responses (Advanced, Winawer, and Tarrasch), there are other sidelines you can play as well, such as the Exchange variation, as well as some other interesting gambits.
1. ...c6 is the Caro-Kann, which doesn't show up all that often. Still, it's good to pick a favorite line.
There are some other first-move responses as black, but these should cover everything that you'll see 95% of the time.

OK let me be blunt. at your level what you want is irrelevent. You need to build understanding and your knowledge base in all positions. Great players might prefer a certain opening but they still understand the others and made a choice.
Play d4 for awhile and learn it but move to e4 as well. I actually think e4 is a better place to start and then move to d4 since the positions are more blocked in d4 and can lead to more maneuvering positions
Play e4 and italian game or scotch. play simple straight foward openings that gain space in the center and focus on active piece play.
For those masters i want to ask a question because when I start playing chess I always play and study e4 opening but when I became much stronger I always play d4, c4, and Nf3...I really don't want to play e4 because of its continuation and position, do you know why this happened, is there variation or moves on e4 suitable for me...tnx
The question of my frind Pls...answer him by posting comment here...
