How did I do in these matches?

Well, there were quite a few tactical blunders in the games.

But then I noticed the time control was 20 5?! For lets say a 40 move game, thats like 30-45 sec per move, very fast especially in critical positions.

Thats a pretty damn fast time control there, especially for your first tourney...

In fact, I don't think i've ever played any tourney that fast as far as I can remember. The fastest I've played is G/30, which is still pretty fast and that was when I first started back in 5th grade like 7 yrs ago at quads. Nowadays, I never play in fast tourneys, only G/60 very occasionally and msotly 30/90 G/60 and 40/2 G/60, 2 very long time contrls. (1 Game can go like 6 hrs max for 40/2 SD/1)

That first game wasn't a tournament; it was a learning-type game that we didn't have time to analyze at the end. No one knew my approximate skill level, since I'm unrated in the USCF (even though I have a membership), so that game was to figure that out. None of the games were tournament games; all three were also unrated.
