pawn play, piece play, and combination of both!

I do not thing that we need anotation for 1.e4 e6. Nice game btw.
I actually like that he notates the opening and talks about the defense/attack.
Being a novice, I can go read more about these openings after seeing them in action.
Nice game I have a few questions which I am going to organize before I post it.
EDIT:
Questions:
Move 11, how does dxc5 gain tempo?
Move 18, would Knight taking h7 be a good move?

11. dxc5 wins me a tempo because black is obliged to move again his piece either the queen or the bishop. moving the same piece twice in the opening is generally considered as wasting time.
18. Nxh7 is worth considering as an alternative to the text. i also looked to that during the game. but after careful analysis of the pros and cons compared to 18.Nxd6, the latter is more forceful and is more in tune to the strategical aim of gaining control of the center and backrank penetration of my rook. besisdes, chess discipline upheld the theory of capturing towards the center.
