putting your bishop to h3 instead of g2 was a mistake - later you had to put it back, you lost a tempo. In English opening I usually try to break out with f4 and do a kingside attack - I prefer my black square bishop on d3. Also Rb1 and later b4 is good to play. Maybe if you look up English openinning Botvinnik variation? I am not sure it that helps.
Perfect Defence?

That was actually a mouseslip.

Ok, mouse slip understood. If not for time you would have lost. I put your game to get analyzed by Houdini 4 and it gives -4.30 at the end for black - that is usually enough to give it up with white... There were times when your defense looked good. After loosing your knight you should have lost I think.

In this game, I blundered away a knight but won on time. By the 18th move, the opponent had 3 minutes left while I had 12. For the entire opening phase and the wax of the middlegame, not a single piece was captured.
However, my opponent was forced to play the increment and kept disconnecting - probably due to computer issues. In the end, I won.
But with the kind of defence I established to halt black's attack, could I have emerged with a draw?
