Yeah, I think e4 was a strange choice out of the opening. Nc3 or Nf3 are both better choices imo, that way your pawn doesn't become a liability right out of the opening. After the bishop goes to b7, and b4 if Nc3, youre losing the pawn anyway. More natural is to play e3 later after your bishop is outside of the resulting pawn chain, but the fact that he blundered his queen makes it all irrelevant anyway.
Instead of 12. Ke2, giving up your right to castle, maybe Bd2 would have been better? When you are massively up on material you want to usually trade off as many pieces as possible, the more you simplify, the more powerful that extra queen is going to get. He would have been forced to trade, due to the threat of Rxa6 picking up the hung knight furthering your material advantage, and after 12...Bxd2 13. Qxd2 you have great control over the dark squares and maybe after something like Rc1, a huge initiative, win win. But again, he blundered the piece anyway.
You should try playing those winning endgames against a computer, after you get used to playing a won position like that, it will be a no brainer to win when you get it in a game. Cheers!
Your thoughts would be appreciated. I annotated the game with mine. I think I made a good come back in the middle game and had a pretty good endgame. I'm an Elo 1100 player.
