I missed several good ideas here, not realizing that even with the pawn at a6, the b5 square was weak. A missed mate in 2 from moving too fast gave me some chuckles but in the end, the game was all ours.

I'm surprised that this was not classed as a brilliant.

My idea was after 26.axb4 I was always going to play 26...axb4, opening up the a-file for Ra8 then a forced mate. Stockfish sees a quicker mate in 6 with 26...Rxd3 instead - a move that I didn't consider at all. Shows how engines differ from humans.
