Sorry innocuent.

Nice royal fork in your game Kyle.  I don't think you're going to get much else out of this one.  Would love to see a game where the opponent was closer matched to you in ability!

innocuent

oops, but hey you can just give it a try!

heister

Not a chance.  I never plan to spend more time analyzing a game then you spent playing it. ;)

innocuent

never mind

another correspondence game... one I think should have either been a white win or a draw. But I think my opponent misplayed something, just not sure where.

Same team match as my other game.

These is one out of memory from about three weeks ago...I know i missed a crucial check with Qg4....but there might be some value still

Its painful for me to watch you never use the extra material (meaning the sleeper bishop at f1 and rook at h1).  Black gained and maintained a local advantage when you had the global advantage.

LoekBergman

What were my big mistakes? I thought I was playing well and then was I lost.

heister

You had a very tough opponent Ivan.  He got a positional advantage and then never let go.  :(  I think you did very well early in the opening to improve your pieces a little at a time, but then made moves that made your pieces worse (a little at a time) later.

heister

More active king thoughts for black in the ending.

Heister,

I cannot possibly express how grateful I am for your helpful and through analyses!

This must be very time consuming for you, and I am curious as to why you are providing this wonderful service to the Chess.com community.

Many, many thanks! Laughing

Indeed, very well said.

I'm off for the U.S. holiday!  I'll be back on Friday.

@DeaconBlues09 - A couple of good reasons.  1. I like doing it.  2. Others did the same for me as I was learning.  (Maybe one day you will pay it forward also).  3.  I believe in the benefits of chess in regard to human development at all ages, across socioeconomic boundaries and most physical disabilities.

@ Loekbergman - I'll take a much closer look at your game when I get the margin.  At first glance it looks like you are tieing too much value to the bishop pair.  A knight anchored on the 5th rank can easily be worth more than your bishop and necessitate a trade.
