Random Advice Needed

So, I find my self exploring different positions quite often.  I have notice that I get to this Queen/Bishop outcome often. 

Does anyone else ever do this type of position?  I have done it in different ways many times.  A lot of the time it works out pretty well depending on when I decide to put my self in theis position.
Anyone care to comment?

I know in this particular set up, it will most likely not end up well. But it's just the idea of that Queen/Bishop tactic that I am interested in for opinions.

Is that called anything?

This is a different position with the same Idea that I have found my self in often.
