I know and the most annoying thing is that if there had'nt been that annoying trap I was winning and thought i could go through the centre to win!

Evil_Homer

Why do you post every game you play?

Very annoying indeed.

sug_chess_puzzles

so can you name some of my games which are'nt very interesting then... and i will say how i believe they are worthwhile seeing...

Evil_Homer

The vast majority of them are pretty pedantic affairs.

You don't bother to put commentary into any of them, so they are just move based with absolutely no insight into the game, how you saw the position etc.

Most games posted in the showcase are examples of GMs and others at work and mnay include analysis by 3rd parties who have taken the time to try and share some insights.

As far as I can see, you just use the game showcase to save your games and little else.

sug_chess_puzzles

ok i get your point and from now I am stopping to post any of my games unless they are really brilliant to post in 'game showcase'!

Evil_Homer

Yeah, so you're just going to post them elsewhere on the forums!

sug_chess_puzzles

no i am really not i have realised why people are getting annoyed

to be honest that is not the attitude to take...you sud be pleased not thinking i am dishonest and carrying on slagging me off!

Evil_Homer

I'm not slagging you off at all.

sug_chess_puzzles

ok fine but just appreciate that i have stopped posting instead of just not believing me!

Olimar

anything anybody does will bother somebody...

sug_chess_puzzles

fine but i am finished....no more now

Hey sug, you shouldn't take the criticism so badly. You shouldn't post every game you play, but you shouldn't give up posting altogether either.

Think of it like this, if you play a tight, close match next time and win (or lose), perhaps you should post it. Then others can tell you were you went right (or wrong). Looking at a game like this, there's nothing that can really be commented on. You made a bad play and your opponent punished you for it. It happens to everybody. The only advice that can be given is to think why your opponent made the move they did. You might also want to develop your bigger pieces earlier, your first 6 moves were all pawn moves. That's how games like this can be avoided. Best of luck in all future games.
