The person who played this... even though they had more wins then loses... and my loses outnumber my wins... i still love to try and set traps... normally they go bad. Heres one trap usually not seen by low class players though... such as myself :P. use a peice to block your queen, rook, or bishop from putting their King in check. The knight is usually the best peice for this. Which ever peice you are aiming to kill move your knight to the appropiate space in which it attacks the peice on that space... When your opponent is in check they are defensless and you win a peice :) YAY.

Its easy to prevent really... but forces him to move his king... so even if you dont get your targeted peice... at least they dont get to castle :).

Move 8 illustrates this technique. Not exactly my best game by the way... and i could do worst... but you get the point of this forum... to show there are ways to set traps that some people would not see sometimes.

move 18 was worst mistake i made this game... but he responded in a stupid manner to it... he probally thought he would be in checkm8 if i moved Qa3+... but really held just win my night... my stupid logic in setting certain types of traps usually leads me to losses in this way...

Now that i think about it...Qa3 would have been the way to go... forcing a trade.

O well :) I win
