I am really bad at openings. Can someone comment on what I did wrong in opening? And did i have any options for win?

The draw seems fair in the final position.

As for the opening, you played it okay up to 9.c3? which hangs the f3 Knight.

hmm, i play the alapin variation so i cant say too much about your opening, but to me d3 seems passive, and blocks your bishop.  I would want that pawn on d4.  I think 7.Bg2 is fine, if 7.Bg5?? Qxf3.  9.c3 loses a piece although black gives you another chance before taking it.  Exchanging queens is generally bad when you are down in material, particularly as after the exchange you will drop another piece with exf4 which for some bizarre reason black neglects.  Move 21 you should probably develop your bishop.  21...Bc5 was a blunder played with the intention of developing the bishop followed by 0-0 . Black should probably try 22...b6  23.Rxc3 Bd4.  23...0-0-0 seems to be taking strategy over common sense, presumably this move was played for the open file, but i think 0-0 is much stronger.  28.Bxc5 seems best, winning a pawn.  30.Rxc5 also wins a pawn, as does 33.Rxa7+ when you should be winning.

You had lots of play left. Take the pawn on a7 and you would have had at least one pass pawn to play. You could've considered sacking one of the passed pawns to trade rooks if your opponent avoided playing Kc8. Trade off the second rook and your opponent would have to deal with your a-pawn, and the c-pawn would not be a problem.

you did have lots of play left the draw was fair but i personally think you could have won this game in fact the cpawn wouldn't have played a factor he would have been chasing your pawn and with the rook trade evident here you would almost certainly if played correctly have won this game in my opinion although it might have been a little tricky
