Should this be considered a loss blitz

To clarify I moved as white at the last second. The game recorded the move queen to g5 checkmate on my side. My Question is that should a bullet game give a loss to someone one move before checkmate if the move is played as the timer runs out if the player has a substantial lead.

Its a pure win

It was probably a lag issue.

Unfortunately you ran out of time (I'm just guessing, but this has happened to me)... you just didn't realise because your board and clock were not reflecting the actual situation.

Think of it this way; the "real" game is at Chess.com, you and your opponent just see copies of the game - unfortunately if one or both of you have lag then your "copies" of the game may be inaccurate. Frown

@isthismahjong: Since the site always jumps automatically to analysis mode after a result, it allows moves to be played and recorded, on the board, as in a live game; (so in all likelyhood it was never actually played - but 'analysed' - which isn't at all obvious as there is no clear differentiation to the rest of the recorded moves). However, you can look at the game in your archive to see the actual final moves; to clarify. :)

The mate was your analysis, not the actual game! 30 moves, you should of had more time.

Thanks. It just seems strange clicking and thinking checkmate and then seeing you lost on time. It showed checkmate on my screen, but it actually only analyzed it. oh well, bullet isn't my favorite for this reason Frown
