Strategy backfired

I was playing black and I sacrificed a bishop in order to capture a rook.  Bad move it turned out as it left me unable to respond to his queen/knight attack.

17...f6 probably would have stopped white.

i would have prevented defeat , by not playing that day , sitting down , and chilling with a few beers Laughing
