I am brand new to chess and have been mainly playing against the weakest computer opposition on chess.com. I am analysing every game I have played and am really confused with this one. The analysis states that I had a missed checkmate on the attached board. It suggests Bf3, but this isn't a checkmate. Am I missing something?

If you look at the white evaluation bar on the top of the screen, it says +M6. This means that if white plays the position correctly, they will checkmate in 6 moves. 14. Bf3+ may not have been checkmate, but it would have led to checkmate in the coming moves. Keep in mind that you were still completely winning with 14. d5+. Sometimes, in completely winning positions, Key Moments is very picky! tongue.png
