Alekhine is 1. e4 Nf6, where white has the chance to play 2. e5 and chase your knight around. This opening is clearly not Alekhine's defense since black doesn't play ...Nf6 until move 8.
The Reti very often starts with 1. Nf3 d5. A line that is more obscure would be 2. e4, and that is what you transposed into on move 2.
