Here is what I do. When I run full analysis, I afterwards look at all the inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders. Once the study of those is done, I move on to the individual analysis, move by move: I look at the evaluation, at the main computer lines and at why, if it is, my move is inferior to other moves.
However, as NMinSixMonths said, computer analysis is only really useful once you've gained some experience. Before that, the suggested lines won't tell you much, since you don't understand why those lines are better. I recommend focusing on reading chess books for now; one you've gained some experience and theoretical knowledge, the computer analysis will become very helpful in your studies.
Checking tactics is easy, and you might learn something. Learning from your positional mistakes with computer help is harder, but not impossible. If the computers eval changes by a pretty big amount -- your rating is 800 so lets put it pretty high at a change of at least +.8, meaning almost a whole pawn, and in exploring the computer lines you don't see tactics, there *might* be a positional issue you can learn from. But as others have said, it will be very hard to do without some base of learning. If its a pretty big change in eval without tactics, there is definitely a human-graspable point, but not necessarily one that you are ready to learn and absorb. You can always ask us for help.
Hello there, I'm new to the chess world and I'm having trouble trying to figure out all the information the computer gives me. Does anyone know a video or book that teaches how to interpret the bots moves?
