The toughest game ever!!

etarnal> but it's quite hard to mirror the other person...
It's easier when you don't have to worry about the consequences. When Petroff mirrored his opponent, for example, his moves were also objectively strong. ;)

Hey everybody, that would be move 16 if anyone cares.

You are right My mistake

I don't really think that this has to be a serious game. There're lots of opportunities for white and black, but both of them were making mistakes, giving his/her opponent another chance. To think of it, it's better to apply the basics/fundamentals of chess. If black copies or mirrors every move that you're doing, think!
This usually occurs in a bullet game, not a usual blitz game though. Of course, it's not even for a long game.
If my mentor sees me playing this kind of game, he would have given me an overtime for another training.
Anyway, this game isn't bad if both of the players enjoyed. Happiness is one goal on why players still play chess.

Hi Yury, no offense taken, on the contrary I really appreciate everyone taking the time to comment in the thread. I was also expressing my point of view. And I have to agree, this was not a traditional chess game, but a game with chess pieces, same rules, but different objective.
cheers.

Generally, it seems, those who have criticised this posting do not see beauty in a game that does not follow the usual conventions.
That's their priviledge, of course. But it seems sad to close one's mind to ways which can illuminate the deep undercurrents of chess, its ebb and flow, the holding of a balance, its (as)symetry...all of which can be revealed by playing with the game - as well as playing it.
