What happens on 16. Nd6+ Kf8, though?  I guess Qxc3 followed by Nxf7 would be strong.

Thanks for an interesting game. Did you consider just 4...e5? This looks pretty good to me, as does 4...d6. I also would have preferred 6...a6 7.Na3 Qxb2 this looks really bad for White

You could (and should) have played 8...Nxe4! The B on d3 is overworked guarding the pawn on e4 and the Nb5. This tactics comes up often, so it's worth remembering.

I also would have preferred 9..a6 10.Nxe6 fxe6 11.Na3 d5!

I believe that 18...Kd7 is your best move and you have a totally won game. 18...Kd8 is also good enough for a win.

Thanks for the comments XD

Yes, with regards to 8. ... Nxe4! I was thinking of that at first (annotations, annotations) but I wasn't sure whether that 1 pawn could count for something. But, on further reflection, I think it would have been a better move.

Your annotation after 18... Kd8 is:

Key position. What is the evaluation?

My evaluation is that 18... Kd8 is a mistake. You should have played  18... Kd7 as suggested by paulgottlieb (although he missed that 18... Kd8 is a mistake since he wrote it would also be good enough for a win). After 18... Kd8 white can play 19. Qxd4 (18... Qxd4 19. Ne6+ Kd7 20. Nxd4).

Wow, so strange that I missed 19... exd4 and yet it is so obvious.

Yeah, I read your comment and said... wait, exd4... what's wrong with that?

But anyway, I was actually trying to look for the odds of black winning after 18... Kd8
