here are two games I played against a guy who was rated 300 points higher than me (though he certaintly didn't play like that) I haven't put them through an engine yet, (they are presented in pgn format as the diagrams don't work for me ATM)

Don't you think that you are taking on a little too much there?

I would lose the fire if I was you. just concentrate on the surfing chess. Bring the fire back in only when you are totally comfortable with the surfing chess.
