Two games of mine vs. Rjlanc

The first game was quite a thriller, with a horrible opening by me. Eventually I fought back, slowly pushing a pawn forward for promotion. The second game was also great fun. Involving a couple sneaky pawns from me, and an accidentally beneficial sacrificed bishop. Lucky for me, not so lucky for him. Analyses and helpful comments would be greatly appreciated! I believe, though I may be wrong, that openings are the weakest part of my chess game. I think my play gets stronger the later on in the game it is.

Yes, your opening in game one is rocky...throwing the Knight around without much back-up is awkward.  However, the sheer will of battle prevails!  Your endgame is fabulous!  The surviving Knight after 38...Nxd1 is key.

The second game speaks for itself.  Your own commentary is dead-on!

The opening is better, but what I really admire here is the pawn positions!

A pawn at the ready for instant promotion-I like it!

Thanks for sharing these games!
