Weird Moves

I lost this game horribly but I'm not sure if I played well in the middlegame. Most of the moves seemed normal for me but White was able to make a few weird-looking moves that I couldn't find a problem with.

I think on move 3, I would have put the knight at c6 before doing 4....d5 that way he can never check you in the first place., and I dont like c6 anyway.

8.. Nc5 wins a pawn, unless he wants to allow Nd3+ which is extremely uncomfortable for white.
23.. Nxe4 and if Ke1, you just take the bishop on e2 and then grab the rook (so you'd have won a piece and a pawn)
After Ng4 you're still winning, but after Ke1 you need to play Nf6 so after Kxd2 you can play Nxe4 winning the rook back on c5.
Honestly in the final postion you aren't even that bad, you have 3 pawns for the piece and his structure is awful.

Thanks for taking a look.

@einstein99 - I like to play 3...d5 because after 3...Nc6 4.Nc3 Black might not be able to play d5 if White plays e3 and Nge2 which doesn't block White's bishop in. I don't know if c6 was best. I just wanted to win the tempo off the queen.

@b3nnyhaha - I completely missed 8...Nc5. I'll try to be more alert. 23...Ng4 was just a blunder by me. I honestly didn't see the e-pawn hanging and went for the check. I was pretty much 'locked in' after that. Cool
