White seems to stand better, due to his material advantage, his being up the exchange, and his two connected passed pawns on the Queenside. However, Black is threatening to annoy White by playing a timely ...h3 - ...Qg2#. White can't defend with Rg1?? ...Qf3+! Rg2 ...h3! (this is the text move) and Black wins material. The correct way forward was a tricky pawn sacrifice to create luft for the White King ...

However, even after your horrible blunder, after Qxg2 ...Qf5? e4! forks both the Black Knight and Queen. However, Black is now winning. With very accurate play White may be able to draw. Moral of the story: don't just attack the enemy Queen with your rook because it looks good! Accurate calculation is needed before making any move! Also, notice when your King is getting too cramped, and create some space for him!
