I tried to do a bit of analysis before I go to sleep because none of my opponents are moving in my games. I hope it helps a bit :P

I have never seen Bg4 either. It gives White a wide variety of ways to pursue it, because it does not bring pressure on White's big e4/d4 center.
You could play 4. c3, Bc4 or Bb5+ as well as dxc5.
c3 allows Qb3 too. This is the wrong Bishop to develop.
perhaps a player who grew tired of sicilian games where his bishop remained undeveloped and the C file unproperly used? I've seen this plenty of times although this doesn't seem like the opening to solve the problem. Perhaps a pawn sacrifice is in order since leaving your king in the centre like that seems very unsound.
Hello,
I've just played this game, and I would like to know what this opening is as I liked it.
The reason why I've posted the game here, is that I'd also like to know about various plans of attack, and also whether my approach was the correct one. i.e Pawn snatch, attack on the queenside etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading.
