I figured that, but knowing that I could easily lose this game if I was White, I wish Chernev had kept going. Thanks, Scott.

Hi all, I'm new and working thru Chernev's Logical Chess. Game 9 is Znosko-Borovsky v Mackensie 1924. And Mackensie resigns at this point
Chernev explains this by saying next moves would be:
30…rook xe7
31 knight f6+ king h8
32 rook xd7
“White wins a piece, giving Black no opportunity to complicate the ending”
I don't get it - if I was White, Black could complicate the ending for me. Can anyone tell me how this would play out.
Thanks a lot,
ted
