Why is this a "brilliant" move?

Kg5 is a very nice move, but I don't understand why it's brilliant (Kh4 also looks fine)
Kg5 may be considered brilliant because it was the only move that doesn't lose for white. Black's king has to retreat, and white's king can infiltrate. It's an obvious move, so why it wouldn't be considered best I'm not sure. Also, I'm pretty sure Kh4 loses because black can infiltrate.
