I'm playing as Black, and my move 14...d4 gives White the advantage — the computer evaluates it as a mistake. Pawn pushes always feel very complicated to me. Can someone explain why it's considered a mistake? Is it a positional error? I can't quite understand.
It locks up the center and opens the a2-f7 diagonal.
