After 21... Rxd2 Nf7+ black can play Rxf7 Qxf7 and Bh4+ winning the queen.
If he played Rxd2 you should have played Ng6 mate like you did in the game.
Instead of Bf6 he should have played Rf6 to stop the mate threats.
