A Bishop Sacrifice.

A game where I give up a Bishop for a couple of pawns and to get a good attack on my opponent's uncastled King. I would appreciate comments (especially on the Bishop sacrifice). Thanks.

I personally think that was an OK move . . . I don't really have any other ideas . . . If I was him I would have taken your queen more than once :)

I think the sac was perfectly justified, especially considering the way the game turned out.

Totally justified.

why not mention the rook sac at the end? both seem sound to me.

What do you mean you would have taken my Queen?

Well the Bishop sacrifice was just to expose the King and might not have worked out well against a stronger opponent. The Rook sacrifice on the other hand led to checkmate.

Great Game.  Move 13 he should have just castled.  You would have won the f pawn but he would have lived on to tell a better tale than a 23 move miniature.

Love the sacs

It was a winning sac so completely justified

I liked mostly the sac of h3 pawn. It was crucial, to move the queen off the diagonal

I think he meant he would have forced a trade of queens.

I don't always castle early for fear that I will draw the attack to the side of the board too early, but this is a good example why castling is so important.  Very cool game.
