35...Qe4+, then if:

36. Kg3 Qf4+ etc.

36. f3 Qe2+ 37. Kg3 Qe1+ etc.

You are right. An oversight for Rudolph and me. Is there a way of securing the whole point for white other than the obvious capture of the rook on move 29 ?  By the way,a perpetual check sequence by a queen alone should be given a name: a unicorn ( better than a rhino, I think .)

There is no perpetual check. 35...Qf4+ 36. Kg1 Qc1+ 37. Kg2 and black goes into desperation mode. Take a look in the following diagram where I have continued from where the game ended. Note a nice little swindle at the very end:
