A Very Convincing Win Against a FIDE Master Over three Board

I was the 2-seed today (Rated 2015) in a 12 player open section of a 4-round, G/45 tournament today, and faced the FIDE master in the 2nd round. Who would have ever thought I would win in such convincing fashion after playing so badly in round 1 where I won against a 1783 via a swindle in a lost position?

But alas, here it is!

For those curious, here is the Round 1 Swindle

Pretty. 19...Ne2! was pretty much the winning move.

Could You please comment on white's 16. Ba3? It is a move I don't understand. Did white expect a heavy piece to go to f8? In fact, as the game showed, on c1 bishop was doing hell of a job protecting e2.

My presumption was that he was figuring on playing b5 and expecting me to play ...Ne7, figuring he'd trade it off and at the same time defelct the queen from the g-file.

I also briefly considered the idea of ...Nd6, but after this move, if I do it now, sure I get a tempo on the Queen, but then he'll play b5 and Bxd6. That bishop is bad on c1 with his pawns on dark squares, so I presumed he wanted to get rid of it, figuring the Knight would stop the fork on d2. So the 16...h4 is mostly a case of the knight being overworked.
