It really does illustrate how you should have a last look around before plunging into that brilliant game-winning move!
I don't pretend my play afterwards was all that stunning, but it got the job done. The point of posting this is partly that I'm getting a bit tired of people trying for an immediate mate on f7 in live chess, but mostly so you can all share the jaw-dropping moment of 'PANIC PANIC what did I MISS?' followed by 'a-ha... I do believe that might have been an error'.
I don't believe in gloating - and I've made many, many horrendous blunders myself - so I've obscured my opponent's name.
