intense bragging I love it

In memory of my humble beginnings, I'll post one more game from my past. This is a game that I played some time after the previous one, and I think you'll see that the improvement is pretty obvious. And if you look closely, you'll see that when I played this game I was starting to develop my now-characteristic ability to create an advantage out of seemingly nothing. Again, like the previous game it's not perfect, but it is a clear testament to the talent that I possessed at a young age.

Ex: This is an amacing thread you’ve created, Macer75!

As the title indicates, in this thread I will share some of my most amacing victories for the enjoyment of the public.

Hilarious!

Macer, I have said it before and I will say it again, your style is very much like Anatoly Karpovs. Especially when he defeated Bobby Ficher, lol.

hobicfus

That's for sure.

I love the way the person didn't realize you life-hacked.

Well, this is embarrassing... there I was, thinking it was a great game, but it turns out I won because of a subtle illegal move!

Then again, the fact that I was able to pull it off (unintentionally, of course - I would never cheat on purpose) without my opponent realizing what had happened is pretty amacing in itself, is it not?

Never mind.

The chess hustlers in New York Park make worse moves, on pourpose.

Now, I realize it's been a while since I've posted in this thread. That's not because I haven't won any good games during this time; on the contrary, I've won many good games, and in the process increased my blitz rating on chess.com to an absolutely insane 1640!! However, my standards are high. A game that is worthy of being posted in this thread must be among the finest of the finest - which is why I have waited until now.

Behold - this is possibly one of the greatest games I have ever played. It is more than a phenomenal tactical demolition of a player of comparable strength with myself, or an improbable 20-move blitzkreig against an opening normally known for its solidity - although those traits alone demonstrate that this game is truly something special. More than anything else, however, this game is incontrovertible proof that I, Macer75, am one of the most spectacularly amacing chess players in history!!

macer75

Hi all. As you can probably tell from my rating (1620 blitz at the time of this post), I'm experiencing a bit of a bad streak lately. I'm not complaining, because this is the sort of thing that all great chess players go through every once in a while. Rather, I'm viewing this as an opportunity for me to learn how to overcome hardship, and come out even stronger.

In addition, this dip in form has also given me the opportunity to play another sort of game. Whereas I'm used to games where I'm absolutely dominant from move 1, lately I've gotten myself into a few difficult situations, which I had to use every bit of intelligence and determination I had to overcome. Below are two such games. While they do not showcase me at my best, they demonstrate my tenacity in the face of adversity. Hopefully, from these games you will learn the importance of never giving up, even when you've made mistakes, and even when all of the odds have been stacked against you.

why are these against the computer easy?? Also, on the first one, you were getting creamed...

Actually in both games I was getting "creamed," as you put it. But like I said in my previous post, these games aren't meant to show me at my best. I'm in a bit of a slump right now, and I'm not my usual dominant self. So I sometimes get myself in bad situations during games. But instead of giving up like most players would, I use my grit and resourcefulness to turn these games around, and ultimately achieve victory against seemingly insurmountable odds. The two games above demonstrate how I do it.

As for why I'm showcasing games against Computer1-EASY, please take a look at post #16 on the previous page.

I'm sorry - I can't tell you that, or else I'll be kicked out.

I can, however, show you another AMACING game! Take a look at the game below, where I not only checkmate my opponent in just 26 moves, but more impressively, in the end I'm up by an insane 23 (!!) points in material, without ever promoting a single pawn! It's almost like my opponent wasn't trying! But then again, against amacing play by me, what can you do?
