Very interesting position at the end of the second game.
An Emissary of Fun

I don't know, but 22...Bd7 holds the position for a spell. There is a lot to do yet in that position, in my view

Batgirl you don't 'own' these guys any explaination or the need to annotate your games or post your losses if it come from Blitz time control. The way you have been posting in the past are fine, I enjoyed looking through the fun games. These guys are coming off as being a jerk who got nothing to do but the need to do so. If they don't like it they don't have go through the games they could go somewhere else and look at other peoples game or go in the analysis section.

LOL, annotating a 5-minute game can take over an hour for what ended in less than 10 minutes. Let folks figure out why hanging bishops have to be moved on their own.

Now, call me sadistic, but yes, it is refreshing to see this in addition to your wins. I don't think you should feel like you should post stuff like this all the time by any means; but it is nice to mix the two a bit. As I have said, it's easier to see insight about your thought process during a blunder, when you are the one who made them. I believe it's good to have a little of both.

i've always liked the way you presented those blitz games.
your threads have always been lighthearted, entertaining and instructive.
they've been something to look forward to.

As I have said, it's easier to see insight about your thought process during a blunder, when you are the one who made them.
...except, in very many or maybe most of the games I've posted in which I won, I've also noted my bad moves, even demonstrating some as blunders of which my opponent failed to take advantage, or at least improvements or alterate moves. I certainly don't post my games so everyone can admire my fantastic skill or find instuctive insight into chess, but rather to show that two average players can produce a mildly interesting, even spirited, games in spite of flaws - or maybe because of them.

The most entertaining Chess is rarely played by the best players. When's the last time you saw a GM play the Double Muzio Gambit? Keep 'em coming.
In a few postings (such as this one) I had made in the Game Showcase forum where I published some blitz wins. Unlike standard games or CC games, blitz games really aren't deep enough to require any but the most cursory of annotations, if any at all. So, since blitz games shouldn't be analyzed, but do carry some interesting ideas, they can't be more than entertainment. Some folks think publishing wins is a form of boasting. I don't know. I give my, and my opponents', rating at the time of the game so everyone can make a judgment on our relative strengths and the likely quality of the game. Playing at a 1500-1700 level certainly is no reason for boasting, nor is beating someone else at that level. But it also doesn't preclude games from being interesting fights. The fact that I publish wins is multi-sided. In looking over my losses in the past few months, I noticed that I either lose on time (in a winning or equal position) or I lose by some uninteresting blunder (or on time after such a blunder). A few games I've been ground down by superior play, but usually, when my oppoenent is that superior, I'll blunder and the game ends. It's actually hard to find such games that I think might be entertaining (and I'm an entertainer, really a writer, more than I am a chess player). But on the other hand, when I lose and it's not from a blunder, I do examine blitz games to see where my thought process went awry.
An an emissary of chess as fun, rather than as serious business (which it also is), I usually try to show that even at a Class B or C level, chess can be exciting.
So, here are three losses that seem mildly entertaining. I tries to annotate thm in a short time:
