umm...well, I do study tactics sometimes...but never heard about kandidate moves...
If you like to read chess books, you should try "think like a grandmaster" Kotov.
(not the best book on the subject, but its a start)
If you use the kandidate moves method, you'll stop doing som many obvious mistakes, if you know your move is a mistake rigth after you have done it, you have the strengt to find better moves.
