Okay, this isn't a particularly beautiful checkmate, but i'm really chuffed about this one, because after I'd doubled the rooks I realised on move 20 that I could get a mate. It's the first time I've ever spotted one so far ahead.
Besides which, it's always fun zapping a wayward queen.

11. Nh3 was the most 500 elo move I've ever seen lol. "Hehe, I'm developing my knight AND attacking your queen. What are you gonna do now? Oh, you put me in check...oh, you're threatening to take my rook...oh, you got my knight for free..."
That's why you should always look for checks - both checks you can give, and checks your opponent can give to you.

yup, as a 500 person myself, been on the receiving end of that sort of error quite enough! You tell yourself, check for checks and takes Every Move, it only takes a moment. And then in the heat of the moment, I don't....
